This custom-built basement sauna was seamlessly integrated into a previously under utilized closet space. To achieve our client’s vision, we reconfigured the layout by framing and shifting the closet area, ensuring a perfect fit for the indoor sauna installation. For a cohesive finish, we replaced the existing wall with rich cedar paneling and upgraded the original door to a sleek glass entry, offering a clear view inside. To further connect the home wellness space with the adjacent entertainment area, we incorporated a window overlooking the bar and lounge, adding to the sauna’s inviting ambiance.
The true showstopper of this luxury home sauna is the stunning California Gold stone accent wall. Thoughtfully illuminated with custom lighting, the stone serves as a dramatic focal point, further enhanced by the placement of the Harvia Cilindro Heater. Other custom features on this project includes duckboard flooring and a digital control pad, which provides effortless temperature adjustments for the ultimate relaxation experience. This custom sauna not only maximizes the space with thoughtful design but is a high-end home upgrade, blending luxury, functionality, and relaxation into one stunning addition.
