Founded in 2014 by John Barbour, Warm Timber set out with a clear vision: to deliver elegant wine cellar solutions and luxurious saunas crafted with unmatched quality.
In 2024, John Barbour partnered with the Rimer family, who carry deep pride in their entrepreneurial roots dating back to the 1970s with Fulton Forest Products in Western PA. Together, they aim to expand Warm Timber’s presence in the Midwestern market, bringing exquisite wine cellars and premium saunas to homes and commercial spaces.

From Concept to Completion
Step 1
Anchor to Your Goals
Our in-home or virtual consultation begins by exploring your project vision, style, and current aesthetic. We then provide expert advice on cellar or sauna placement and design a space that exceeds your expectations.
Step 2
Transparent Proposal
Our clear proposal offers a comprehensive understanding of the scope and timeline for your wine cellar or home sauna project. You’ll receive detailed designs and have the opportunity to make adjustments before moving forward.
Step 3
Expert Construction
After design approval and deposit payment, your project will be placed on the production schedule. Our skilled artisans will construct your wine cellar or sauna to precise specifications, which typically takes between 9-12 weeks. Warm Timber will communicate the timeline expectations at the time of deposit and will provide updates along the way. If you have purchased a cold plunge tub, we will work with you to ship this product to meet the needs of your project.
Step 4
Installation
When it comes to installation, you have options. The Warm Timber team, led by Managing Partner Adam Rimer, will ensure that every detail- from lighting and hardware to doors- is meticulously installed to perfection. Or, if you’d prefer to use your own contractor, we will advise and support your own team as they complete the installation.
